Policies

For individual room bookings, no penalty will be charged for cancellations received more than 2 weeks prior to date of arrival. Less than a two week notice will result in one half of your total stay. A no show will result in full payment of your entire stay.

For full house bookings, 8 week cancellation is required for full refund. If cancellation is less than 8 weeks, 50% of full booking charge will apply.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Early check in fees apply of $100/hour, if approved by owner in advance. We like to greet all guests upon arrival, please let us know the estimated time of your arrival. Check-out time is 11 am.

A two night minimum on the weekends is required during our peak season (April through December)

*Please note that all guests must be 12 years of age or older to stay.

For your comfort, we have a no pet policy at the inn. We have 2 dogs of our own that live with us and do not enter the inn. However, if you would like to meet Walter and Larry, please let us know! They are always happy to meet guests.

Smoking is not permitted inside the inn.

Breakfast is served at 9:00 am in the dining room. A full, hot breakfast is served every morning. We promote local businesses and offer local, seasonal produce and meats. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs at the time of your reservation.

If you cannot make breakfast at 9:00am, we will provide a “to go” snack.

The William Smith Inn Offers Free Wifi to our guests.

The William Smith Inn is committed to helping our community and fragile environment. Our efforts include buying local products, composting, and recycling. Your guest bed will be made upon arrival and will refresh at guest request. We also encourage guests to hang towels to cut down on our use of water and detergents.
